Quick Information
LED Indicators
Green: Battery ON
The battery is on and there is voltage at the output connectors
Red: Error (check display)
There is an error, check the display for the error code
White: Waiting for connection
The battery is programmed to turn on or is waiting for connection with an MtB Smart GateWay
Yellow: Starting
The battery is initializing (pre-charging the inverter capacitors)
Blue: Button pressed
One of the buttons is being pressed
Magenta: Pairing/connecting
Searching for an MtB Smart GateWay or connecting to it
Basic Operations
Wake up: Quickly press the button
Activates the battery when it's in low power mode. You'll hear two quick beeps when the battery is ready.
Turn on: Press until 1 beep
Press and hold the red button until you hear one beep to turn on the battery.
Turn off: Press until 1 beep
Press and hold the red button until you hear one beep to turn off the battery.
Pair: Press until 2 beeps
Press and hold the red button until you hear two beeps to pair the battery with an MtB Smart GateWay.
Forget: Press until 3 beeps
Press and hold the red button until you hear three beeps to forget the paired MtB Smart GateWay and enter low power mode.
Common Error Codes
- E01:BMS problem
There is a problem with the BMS, MeterBoost should be contacted.
- E02:No voltage output
The battery is on but the system is not detecting voltage at the output terminals. The internal fuse is probably blown. The battery should be sent to MeterBoost for repair.
- E03:PCB/BMS incompatibility
Incompatibility between the battery PCB and the BMS.
- E04:Battery not paired
The user tried to turn on a battery that is not paired with an MtB Smart GateWay and the battery detected voltage at the output terminals. The battery must first be paired with an MtB Smart GateWay and then turned on.
- E05:BMS communication lost
The battery PCB lost communication with the BMS.
- E06:BMS status error
The battery could not verify or change the BMS status. The battery output state is undefined, there may be voltage at the battery output terminals.
Display Information
- Battery ON:Battery Voltage
Shows the current battery voltage when it's on (LED1 light solid green).
- Error:Error Code
Displays error codes when there's a problem (LED1 light solid red).
- Initialization:Firmware Version
Shows the firmware version when the battery is initialized.
- Off:Flashing Dot
Displays a flashing dot when the battery is awake but turned off.
- Paired:Battery ID
Shows the battery ID when paired and connected to the MtB Smart GateWay.
